Zimmer Communications began in 1956 when Mr. Zimmer launched KDEX-FM in Dexter, Missouri. A decade later, he introduced KZYM-FM in Cape Girardeau—one of the nation’s first country music stations. His pioneering vision and dedication to customer service earned him the Missouri Broadcasters Association Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996.

From those roots, Zimmer has grown into a Missouri-based, family-owned marketing company with 14 radio stations, 3 magazines, and full-service departments for digital, social media, web design, audio/video production, and more.
