The Tiger… jumped at least two seconds late and swatted at empty air.

The Jayhawk grabbed the ball, already fighting back laughter.

The Tiger tried to dribble.
It… couldn’t.
The ball bounced off its foot… then its other foot… then somehow its elbow.
At one point, it accidentally dribbled the ball into the wrong basket.

It put one feather behind its back, dribbled solely with the other wing, and still juked the Tiger so hard the Tiger ran into the mascot tunnel.
As the buzzer sounded, the Jayhawk tossed an alley-oop to itself off the backboard—
BAM! A slam dunk right as time expired.
Blue and crimson confetti rained down.
The Tiger reemerged from the tunnel wearing a traffic cone on its head and no one knew how or why.

The Jayhawk lifted the trophy.
The Tiger lifted a water bottle and spilled it everywhere.
The crowd chanted:
